After the internet thought Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez had waved the white flag, the Celebrities were found once more involved in drama.

The singer and the model were involved in many dramas and speculations throughout the years, however the two of them were photographed together at the Academy Museum Gala giving the drama a breather.

“I think everyone thought this drama had ended after that one picture, they were hugging and looking friendly, it seemed like it was always just on the fans mind, and they never had an actual problem with each other but now things changed, this last drama made very clear that there are still hard feelings at least on Hailey side,” Freshman Mariam Guirguis said.

Yet social media never gives them a break, and the pair was once again embroiled in another drama, now concerning a post made by the model’s friend and influencer Kylie Jenner.

“I feel sorry for Selena because she always gets tangled up in those dramas with the Bieber  couple, when she just wants peace, it’s been years since their relationship and she moved on, but it always finds its way back to her,” Guirguis said.

Selena and Hailey have both shared a romantic relationship with the singer Justin Bieber in different time periods, leaving the public to pit Selena and Hailey against each other.

“Both of them, Selena and Hailey have been with Justin and Selena being the ex, she sometimes is put as a villain on situations and that’s on all relationships, the ex is always seen as the bad guy and that’s also why they are put against each other, most fans make it a competition on who is the better one, I don’t think that’s how it should be because after all the fans are not the ones choosing, Justin is,” Freshman Riley Cresswell said.

Fans are divided on social media, Selena is receiving a lot of support and protection from her fans, while Hailey is suffering from all the hateful comments from the internet.

“I am on Selena’s side because I am her fan, first of all, and  because she has always been unproblematic, she never starts drama or put herself in problematic situations, and Hailey Bieber started it, she was being mad shady, and Selena’s fans are coming after her to defend Selena since she didn’t do anything wrong, “Senior Diliani Luna shared.

The Reality TV star and influencer, Kylie Jenner posted a story where she had a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Hailey Bieber showing her eyebrows, right after the singer had posted a video of her new eyebrow look, leaving fans to believe that the influencers post was targeted at Selena.

“I saw Kylie’s post, the one with the eyebrows screenshot, and it was so shady it happened three hours after Selena made her eyebrow laminated post, it’s just the timing, people just pick up because the timing is horrible, and they try to say it wasn’t about Selena, but it happened right after,” Luna said.

On February 24, Selena Gomez surprised the internet surpassing Kylie Jenner in number of followers on Instagram, making Selena the most followed women on the platform.

“I’m Selena’s fan so I am happy she got to hit that record but mostly because that just shows her power, Selena has always been respectful and kind so her being the most followed women just proves and motivates people to act the same,” Cresswell said.

With all this happening, past videos of Hailey Bieber were brought to light, especially one regarding the singer Taylor Swift, where the model is mocking Taylor and her music.

“Since Selena’s fans saw the shade Hailey was throwing they started to pick on clues and hints, they were just observing I feel like it was just an observation, I saw the video where she gags on the video talking about Taylor Swift and Selena obviously had to say something because that’s her best friend, but I feel like Hailey just starts a lot of drama because she is insecure,” Luna said.

The two singers, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift have had a longing friendship and as the insult was thrown towards Taylor, Selena did not take long to defend her friend and her work.

“Selena and Taylor have been friends for the longest time and it’s obvious she would defend her, especially because they were mocking her music, and it was really low of Hailey to come for Taylor, but Selena made the right move she was respectful and left a message for everyone, instead of making the whole situations worst,” Guirguis said.
