I first started attending Four Corners around the time the Covid-19 pandemic started and things were very boring and lonely. Half of the school was online and even at school everyone was very distant and even faces were blocked off with everyone wearing masks. When things started going back to normal, I started making more friends and then I started getting involved in more things because of their influence, like theater.
I worked with the more technical side of theater like mics and lights, and I eventually started to do more with theater like being stage director backstage and helping teachers with that kind of stuff in 11th grade. Now I’m currently in 12thgrade and I’ve been doing similar things in theater ever since, but this year I’ve been doing less because this is my last year, and I don’t want to have giant roles in that department along with things like college planning and the stresses of that
I also don’t have a very set-in stone plan for my life after high school. Of course I’ve put a lot of thought into it so I know some things I want to do like college, but nothing is final. What I know for now is that I want to focus on going to a college in Florida, I’m aiming for UCF, and I want to get a degree in some kind of engineering or science.
