“Joining the four corners cheer team has been my best decision yet in high school. I used to compete in middle school, but my old high school was more sideline geared. Now that I’m on this team, I feel like I’ve made the 7th grade me proud. The experiences I get from cheering make me feel so alive and ready for what’s coming next. I also get to continuously build my skill level and try new things,” senior Chelsea Garcia said.
“Coming from across the country my final year of high school I’m so proud of the person I’ve become and the people I’ve met. It was so hard to adjust and get used to a scenery with so many people I didn’t even know. But this path of growth led me to break my shyness and explore more around me. Doing this, I have made so many new friends, new experiences, and learned so many new life lessons,” Garcia stated
