“So, after high school I plan to go to the University of South Florida, I’m still waiting for the acceptance. I plan to take on mechanical engineering mainly concentrating in Aerospace basically mechanical engineering is basically where you get to design and create airplanes, satellites, and rockets. So basically, rocket science and ever since I joined Harrell’s class I’ve been fascinated about it. Engineering really stands out a lot to me so I’m planning to get a master’s for it. Well mainly before I did aerospace, I wanted to do journalism, but I just took this class because I needed an elective. So, I’m not sure just the way Harrell teaches, the way he’s passionate about it, and the way he talks about mechanics and stuff it always spoke out to me. I’ve always been creative ever since I was little, and I just sort of love hands on activities, and I don’t know how to describe it but it’s like a calling to me,” senior Genesis Rivera said.
