Four Corners Upper School’s Foreign Language Club will be hosting Multicultural Night this Jan. 31st, so bring your family and encourage your friends to come.
The event will start at 6 p.m. and will cost $7 to enter. This event will be exploding with entertainment and food for all who join. Many countries will be represented at this event as a way for the guests to see food from diverse cultures, dances, music, and more.
The Foreign Language Club has worked hard to make the event inclusive and welcoming for all who come. The club has decided to host the event for the second time in hopes that they can once again inform the guests of what each country has to offer.
“The main purpose of this event is to celebrate our culture while also celebrating our traditions, food, music altogether,” junior Emilo Cabrera said.
The members of the club expect to have a great amount of guests at the event due to the amount that the club received last year.
“We expect many people to go because we marketed it better,” freshman, Alifer Cruz said.
There will be several tables at the event, each representing a different country. Each table will be serving food from the country that it represents.
“We’ll be having countries like Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Columbia,” sophomore Nicole Canelon said.
Many of the members also started to predict the tables that they think will win at the multicultural night.
There are several games and competitions that take place throughout the night that each country takes part in. Last year the big winner was Brazil and members of the Foreign Language Club have already started to predict this year’s winning table.
“So, the people that I think will win at the multicultural night is Venezuela because I feel like there is a lot of people supporting that culture,” Nathalie Diaz said.
