Class of 2025 Recap

It has now come to that time where the class of 2025 walks down the stage to finally live the dream they have all been waiting for, graduation day.

But before that seniors start reminiscing back on the last four years of high school right before it all comes to an end.

“The most exciting thing for me this year was definitely getting elected president. It’s something I wasn’t for a long time and finally being able to say I am president means a lot. It helped me become better with my people in school and opened a lot of doors for me, also winning homecoming queen was so exciting I felt like that day I knew my school fully supported me and everything I wanted to do and overall felt very loved,” said senior Isabella Hemenway.

Throughout their senior year the school hosts various events exclusively for seniors for them to enjoy their last year together as a class. Some of the events include Senior Sunrise, Senior Picnic, Grad Bash, Senior Sunset, Senior Night (for senior athletes) and Senior Breakfast.

“My favorite senior experience was probably Grad Bash. While it was hot and lines were long, it was a great way to come together as a class for one last big bash,” stated senior Carlee Johnson.

While the school does provide exclusive events specifically for seniors, other organizations such as the Yearbook and Journalism program allow for other special opportunities such as traveling across the country.

“I’m grateful that I got to experience traveling across the country to participate in the journalism convention in Seattle. Not many organizations in the school have the capability to do that and the fact that I was able to go across the country again for my senior year was amazing,” said senior Madeline Seaman.

During senior year many students create goals for themselves to achieve throughout their senior year such as joining an organization, stepping out of their comfort zone or even trying something new.

“Something I’m happy I accomplished was becoming a part of the National Honor Society because it’s definitely something to be proud of. For me making my education a priority is definitely something I am happy with,” stated senior Keshav Harpal.

“I wouldn’t do anything differently. I’ve come to believe that everything happens for a reason, even the parts of life that felt confusing, stressful, or uncertain at the time. Every decision I made, every worry I carried, and every moment I questioned myself helped shape the person I am today. Those experiences taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of growth. There were definitely times when I felt overwhelmed by the future or unsure of where I was headed, but even those moments had value. They pushed me to reflect, to adapt, and to keep going. I’ve realized that I didn’t need to have it all figured out back then, because life has a way of unfolding in its own time,” said senior Claraliz Made.
