Jhoonie Charles is a 16-year-old junior at Four Corners, marking her fourth year attending the school and her first year on the Coyote Chronicle staff. She was born in Haiti, and at just three, she relocated to Orlando, Florida, with her father. However, she didn’t stay for long, as she moved back to Haiti for another year to be with her mother. She has always been interested in fashion and started designing outfits inspired by her favorite TV shows, such as Winx and Sailor Moon. Jhoonie grew up as a shy kid, but since coming to Four Corners, she has made new connections that brought out her more extroverted side. She hopes being on the Coyote Chronicle can help her express her creative side more and explore the art of Journalism.
